I collect records and I spend a lot of time looking for them. Whenever I hit the road, I generally leave home with a neatly researched itinerary of record stores or any other spots I may happen to find vinyl. I thought that one time in Malaysia was crazy or that shack in Uruguay was pretty nuts but nothing can compare to Frank over at Voodoo Funk. For the last number of years he’s traversed Africa mining it’s rich musical history. Here’s some pictures from his most recent trip to Nigeria that’s nothing short of amazing.

Digging with a gas mask  on because of tropical mold is a new level of dedication. You can follow Frank’s trail over at Voodoo Funk
